Asia Dalits Rights Forum (ADRF) is a regional platform, functioning as a collective movement of Dalits rights protagonists. ADRF stands as the sole platform at the Asian level to amplify the voices of over 220 million individuals affected by caste and work and descent-based discrimination in all domains of their lives. It intends to make the invisible Dalits & CDWD communities visible not only in Asia but also globally. Asia particularly South Asia, as the homeland of Dalit community, holds a significant historical narrative of oppression. Despite facing systemic discrimination, Dalits have maintained a legacy of resilience, embodying radical and revolutionary ideals. ADRF plays a pivotal role in reinforcing the concept of "Dalitness" amplifying the agency of Dalits and CDWD across the region, fostering empowerment and solidarity. Therefore, this platform is designed by and for Dalits and CDWD, led by the leadership from these communities, making it inherently community-based rather than solely focused on specific issues. It operates as an organization of organizations, representing the collective efforts of Dalits and CDWD groups. More than just an institution, it expresses a rights-movement, functioning as a coalition of movements striving for dignity, freedom, and equality.
